Artful Yoga is an 8-limbed yoga practice rooted in breath. Utilizing the creative lens, we can employ visualization to help root our practice, harmonize our nervous systems, and lift our yoga off our mats, integrating it into our daily lives.

1:1 Yoga

CydCharise is certified in Hatha Yoga in the tradition of Patanjali’s classical eight limbed yoga with additional certification in Yoga for Social Justice / Embracing Yoga’s Roots. She is currently pursuing certification in Trauma-informed Yoga.

Her yoga practice is rooted in Pranayama - breath supports everything. Her breath work practice was established as a child asthmatic who had the fortune of being under the care of a doctor who integrated breath work techniques and western medicine. Asana and mindfulness practices came later, at 18 with a dance instructor who integrated yoga into his courses and with her sister who led by example and encouraged an understanding of yoga’s boons.

Offering personalized instruction in Pranayama supported Restorative Yoga, Asana supported Pranayama, and Yoga Philosophy.
